I had a charming stay at the castle lodge with everything I needed within the castle proper. The service was exceptional but not eating at the restaurant was a missed opportunity. The view from the rooms onto the lovely gardens was truly spectacular.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. Although the rooms were located in the addition basement with no view, mine specifically had a bath which was a nice touch. I appreciated the convenience of having a bath, but I missed having a view from my room. The shower was the only option available, and the open windows had no screens, which was a bit of a downside for me. Despite these room features, the service provided was outstanding, giving the best service I have seen anywhere. The location, within the castle proper, was exceptional with everything we needed nearby. Dining was included and the meals served were fresh, especially the meat dishes. The facilities overall were adequate.
